Empowering Neurodivergent Kids Through Creative, Adaptive Support
Every Family deserves access to high-quality care. Our Services are flexible, affordable, ESA-approved, and personalized to meet individual needs. Little Wings is here to help your child soar.
Who We Are
At Little Wings, we offer non-medical pediatric services that empower neurodivergent and disabled children through play, movement, and hands-on learning. From adaptive childcare to community outings and personalized enrichment activities, we create skill-building experiences that nurture confidence, independence, and joy.
Our approach goes beyond basic care to meet real needs. The core values and practices below shape how we support each child and family — building trust, connection, and meaningful growth every step of the way.
Whole-Child, Creative Support
We go beyond academics with personalized guidance rooted in movement, body awareness, play-based learning, and creative skill-building. From gross motor skills and proprioception to emotional regulation and self-expression, we help your child grow in every direction.
Collaborative & Coordinated
We work alongside IEP teams, ABA providers, therapists, and educators to create wraparound support that honors your child’s full care plan without replicating or replacing clinical work.
Family-Led & Flexible
Your goals guide the work. We follow your child’s interests and needs while partnering with families to offer consistent, compassionate care—always tailored to fit your life, not the other way around.
Real-World Readiness
We support everyday life skills that matter; like money math, social navigation, errands, routines, and communication. With hands-on, community-based instruction, your child builds confidence where it counts most.
Who’s Behind The Wings
Hi, I’m Kalyn, but most folks know me as “Bird.” I’m the founder and sole operator of Little Wings.
I’m a passionate advocate for neurodivergent kids and the families who love them. With over 12 years of experience in early childhood education, in-home ABA, and special education—as well as a degree in psychology and certified childrens’ yoga certification in my back pocket—I’ve spent my life supporting children of all kinds. I’ve seen firsthand what helps them thrive… and what doesn’t.
I created Little Wings to offer the kind of care that meets kids where they are through play-based, movement-friendly, and rooted in respect. My mission? To stop asking kids to change to fit the world, and start shaping a world that fits them.
